Boer - Standard of the breed
- General Aspect - Vigorous animal, great thoracic box, roman profile, hanging ears and backwards horns.
- Aptitudes - Meat.
- Head - Big. Roman nose. Big eyes. Dark horns, growing apart and backwards with a light wave down. With medium, wide and hanging ears, which are also bigger than the Boer's.
- Neck - Strong. Just a little less strong at the females goats.
- Body - Powerful, long, with arched ribs and pretty covered by muscles. Horizontal ventral line.
- Limbs - Strong. Strong bones. They appear to be short when compared to the rest of the body. Dark hooves.
- Udder - Well conformed. It is possible that are more than two teats.
- Skin - Soft and loose. Coloration in parts where there is no coat. Dark color. It has its mucous pink.
- Coat - Soft and oily hair, medium or long, without wool. White body, there is a stripe in the middle of the face, from the forehead to the lips. The rest of the head and the neck are red, light or dark. It is possible to be stains smaller than 5 cm diameter bellow the belly. The hair over the ears are lighter than the neck's. The tail may be red, though the color must not extend more than 2.5 cm.
- Specific Defects - Less than 10 cm of red hair in both sides of the head. Less than 75% of the ears colored. Too much red hair over the shoulder or the chest.
- Medium high - Females 65-80 com. Males 70-90 cm.
- Medium weight - Females 50-70 Kg. Males 80-100 Kg.
